3Squared helps TV’s Mary Portas with new app to boost store
Software development company 3Squared, based in Sheffield, appeared on Channel 4 series ‘Secret Shopper’ with retail guru Mary Portas this week to develop an App that makes ordering online easy for customers in a bid to boost trade for a failing business.
James Fox, commercial director at 3Squared was approached by Mary, as she aimed to turn around Hallmark Foods Store in Burnham, Buckinghamshire and help the business to take advantage of the latest technology. James and his development team created the App which makes ordering online easy and shopping locally more convenient for customers. Once ordered, shop staff deliver goods via Rickshaw!
3Squared also installed the latest iBeacon technology, which has the potential to revolutionize the retail experience by alerting customers through Bluetooth technology about deals and offers when they are near the store.
