The heat is on as Dragonfly PR takes part in the Big Barnsley Bake Off!
Following the start of this year’s series of The Great British Bake off, staff here at Dragonfly PR are eager to get baking and what better way to do it than by taking part in the Barnsley Hospice charity bake off!
The Big Barnsley Bake Off event is encouraging individuals, businesses and schools to hold their very own tea parties, cake sales and bake offs to help with fundraising efforts for the charity.
Sam Nixon, Celebrity MasterChef and CBBC’s Junior Bake Off star from Barnsley, is supporting the Hospice’s Big Bake Off Campaign and will present the individual, company or school that raises the most money with a certificate for Master Baker 2016. All money raised will go towards providing specialist, compassionate care to hundreds of local people with life-limiting illnesses and their families from all over Barnsley.
Dragonfly PR has previously raised money for Barnsley Hospice after donating £1 for every survey completed about its new website, raising in total £60.
We will be holding our bake sale between 9-9:30 am and 12-12:30 pm on 13th September, here at our offices, so if you’re around and would like to help us raise funds for Barnsley Hospice, please call in for a bun or slice of cake!
