Dragonfly PR increases its charitable activities on a local level
We have linked up with Barnsley Hospice because we wanted to increase our charitable activities at a local level. Our new recruit, Emma Holman, had a contact within the Fundraising Team at Barnsley Hospice and we all agreed it sounded a worthwhile charity to support.
Emma met with one of the Hospice Fundraisers who talked to us about the great work they do to care for adults with life limiting illnesses and how they support patients’ families. Barnsley Hospice also organise a lot of events and activities that we could get involved with including networking events, sponsoring their local events and the Big Barnsley Bake off.
We have just launched our new website, so we saw this as a great opportunity to run a survey asking for people’s opinions of the new site and for every comment, we will make a donation to Barnsley Hospice.
