We are seeking a PR Account Manager
Recent growth in our business means we are now seeking an experienced PR Account Manager. You will have expertise in content writing within a B2B PR agency and will be skilled in managing your own client accounts. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work from home, as well as our office.
- Minimum three years’ agency experience in a B2B PR or in a senior content marketing role.
- B2B experience essential; knowledge of construction and manufacturing is a bonus.
- Proven track record in managing own accounts.
- Passion to help clients; desire to always do your best.
- Attention to detail.
- Be a self-starter.
- Experience of working with 4-6 clients simultaneously.
- Experience of managing accounts and leading a team to deliver PR campaigns and demonstrate ROI.
- Social and content exposure; PR, press/media relations.
- Happy to be part of a new business squad and work to grow the agency.

Key tasks and responsibilities:
You will work across a range of B2B PR client accounts
Be the main point of contact for a number of clients, ensuring monthly deliverables are achieved and reports produced for a number of clients.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of clients and client needs
Understand key client information including business strategy, products and services, key customers and competitors
Develop a positive, fully engaged, organised and trustworthy relationship with each client
Use your exceptional soft skills to build lasting relationships with clients, keeping in regular contact
Interact with senior client contacts of the organisation and gaining their trust (not just the immediate PR / marketing personnel)
Manage social media accounts, where required.
Ensure the client is always happy to hear from and see you
Ensure timely and effective delivery of appropriate services
Maintain account profitability
Be accountable to deliver clients’ required outputs each month via monthly reports.
Input into the PR strategy, plans and creative ideas for each client
Work with account directors to deliver and manage projects / retainers within agreed timeframes and budgets.
Ensure you provide top quality work that meet up to expectation of the clients
Be highly organised and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
Be an ‘ideas person’ – presenting new feature ideas to the internal team, and to clients
Demonstrate excellent listening skills – capturing all salient points a client makes during every interaction and ultimately knowing what clients really want.

Be up to date with current PR planning and reporting methodologies.
Bring ideas forwards for new services to support our clients and prospects.
Subscribe to relevant newsletters and podcasts to keep abreast of the PR and B2B world.
Marketing & New business
Be capable of writing B2B blogs and other technical and non-technical content.
Contribute to the company’s LinkedIn page and extending its reach.
Successfully building your own and the company’s LinkedIn and Instagram Followers.
Identify new business opportunities and share them with the team.
Attend and contribute to new business pitches, where required.
Help with strategy development for new business pitches
Identify opportunities to up-sell products and services to existing clients
