We become the approved PR partner for work-wise
Dragonfly PR has been chosen as the approved PR partner for the work-wise Foundation, which aims to raise the profile of manufacturing careers in Yorkshire. Every year its ‘Get up to Speed’ event gives young people from schools in this region the chance to see some of the UK's most exciting engineering inventions and network with the people who design, build and operate them. In 2018 it attracted over 3,000 young people from 69 schools and involved over 90 businesses.
Rebecca Hart, Account Manager at Dragonfly PR, said: “We are really excited to be working in partnership with the work-wise Foundation. We’ve been involved in an unofficial capacity before but are looking forward to helping them to helping to publicise their major Get up to Speed event and other activities to a wider regional and national audience.”
John Barber, CEO of work-wise said: “It’s great to have Dragonfly PR on board. Generating publicity on a local and national basis is really important to the success of our events and we’re hoping that with Dragonfly’s help, it will enable us to generate even more business interest and encourage more school involvement, giving young people even better access to career opportunities in the future.”
